RefinanceMe Pty Ltd is headed up by two refinance experts. We've had a lot of contact with banks, and to be honest, we're not real fussed on them. They're too big, too impersonal and too inflexible. Especially when it comes to refinance. Funnily enough, though, we have a lot of time for bankers. Some of them, anyway.
Over the last 3 years, we've helped countless clients refinance. And we've gotten to know a lot of bankers in the process. Most didn't do much for us. (I'm sure you know the feeling!) But every now and then, we uncovered one who was just brilliant at refinance. A helpful, informative decision maker. Someone with authority and a sense of urgency. Someone who could waive fees, reduce rates and jump queues in order to win refinance business. Needless to say, when we found someone like that, we etched their name and contact details on the nearest stone tablet!
RefinanceMe Pty Ltd grew out of that experience. It's actually the sister company to Finance Advocates Pty Ltd - our commercial refinancing brokerage, established in 2005. Until recently, we targeted only business clients looking to refinance. But in late 2007, we decided to offer consumer refinance clients, like yourself, the same privileged access to serious bankers that our business clients enjoy.
This was partly because our bankers wanted us to, and partly because the mortgage and refinance brokers currently going around seem (to us, at least) to be doing things all wrong. They simply look at a computerised comparison chart, and pick a bank based on very limited and generic information. And it's pretty much the same comparison chart no matter which broker you contact. To us, that's no more personalised than what the banks themselves offer to consumers.
We reckon the way we do things is much better. And we know our refinance clients think it is!
